Cabernet franc
Cabernet Franc originates from Bordeaux, France. It is the parent of the other two varieties from the big Bordeaux trio - Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Its color is slightly lighter than Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and it has softer tannins, so it does not need to mature as long as Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc gives a fragrant, harmonious and complex ruby-red wine, rich in extract and a moderate amount of alcohol. The unique flavor of paprika and black pepper sets it apart from all other red wine grapes in its family.

Cabernet sauvignon
The originally French Cabernet Sauvignon variety was created by spontaneous crossing of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. It was brought to our vineyards at the time of the first renovation of the vineyard, around 1880 to be exact. The wine has a strong color, adequate alcohol, and the taste is extremely complex, full of concentrated aromas, dry and harmonious. It has a more pronounced freshness with strong tannins, due to which it ages well and withstands aging well in oak barrels. Many consider it the king of red wines, which is justified in many ways.

Chardonnay
Chardonnay is a white grape variety that originates from France, and was created in Roman times by crossing Pinot noir and Belina, an old Croatian grape variety. Due to its adaptability, it belongs to the group of the most widespread white grape varieties grown in all wine regions of the world. Chardonnay grapes are flexible enough to get their flavor from the terroir and the vinification process, which allows winemakers to create their own unique style of wine. In our region, Chardonnay tends to be a more serious wine, with a high alcohol content, buttery character and ripe fruit aromas. At the same time, it can mature perfectly in oak barrels, and the wine, produced by sur lie technology, achieves extremely high quality.
